"Repair of SALANG Tunnel and Snow Galleries" is the first international contract of Afghanistan. Salang Tunnel is the most strategic point for Afghanistan and International Security Force of Afghanistan (ISAF), as it is the crossing point of the road between the northern and the southern regions and shortens the distance about 274 km. As a result of its strategically important location Salang Tunnel was blown up from 2 different points and demolished during the civil war.
